There will be a series of Pod-Casts with my co-host Teddi Ann. Teddi Ann Barry is one of the premier family law attorneys in the state of Colorado. We will discuss the pro’s and con’s of divorce in a matter of fact way.
When should you seek a lawyer about divorce or talk to a counselor/coach about saving your relationship? There will be some great tips for those considering staying or leaving a relationship.
The purpose of this radio show is to provide you with some insights from our radio show hosts and our staff of experts that can walk you through the process of finding answers that are applicable to your relationship needs. We’ll occasionally have various guests that work with couples considering divorce, separation, or haven’t gotten over their divorce.
This week, we will continue this series on the colorcode with the color blue. Hopefully, you’re starting to see how the colorcode works, each color has it’s pros and cons, and once we get through this series, you’ll understand peoples motives and why they do the things they do, in a good way or bad. I think Taylor Hartman is spot on with the way he sees people. I have used the colorcode when dealing with my clients and their needs. If you want a better marriage, the colorcode will open doors to better communication. If you are having issues at work with a co-worker or boss/management, the colorcode will open doors of understanding. If you hire or lay people off, the colorcode will give you the necessary tools for a better work environment, and better employee hires for the company.
Blues, no doubt, are self-disciplined. They get things done and make a plan to and stick to it.
As we continue with the pros and cons for the blues, pay attention to how blues impact personal and business relationships. The deeper we get into the blues and the colorcode, you’ll soon discover the importance of knowing why healthy blues are essential to have in your life.
Blues, no doubt, are self-disciplined. They get things done and make a plan and stick to it. They love projects, and this will bring out the best in them. I have worked with blues who loved the challenge and made things happen. I didn’t worry one bit; they were dependable. You can count on a healthy blue to get the job done.
One of the negatives about blues is they lean towards being guilt-prone and worry. They worry about everything. It can bog them down at times. In their personal lives, they worry about things that are out of their control. They worry about the kids at school, they worry about the traffic, they worry about their jobs. They are extremely hard on themselves. Most of the things they worry about never happen. It’s a waste of valuable energy, in my humble opinion.
Blues think of others before they think of themselves, they love putting others before themselves, and this brings them great pleasure. They enjoy helping others in need. When blues care about you, they will go the extra mile to make things happen. I have seen very healthy marriages where the wife was a blue and loved serving her family. She was happy to enrich her husband and her kid’s lives. Blue’s are notorious givers of their time and money.
Blues can be self-righteous and insecure at times. One thing you can count on, blues have strong personalities. They are not shy when stating their opinions with others. If they feel safe around you, they will share their deep feelings and ideas. They will, at times, set unrealistic goals, and this causes them to feel guilty caused by their attitudes and unmet expectations.
Next week, we will continue the series on the colorcode.

Here are the limitations of an unhealthy red: They are difficult to live and work with unless they get their own way. They will argue at the drop of a hat. They always consider themselves number #1. They can be insensitive and arrogant, creating distance and distrust. Intimacy is their least developed skill, fault finding seems essential for reds, tactless, and stubborn tends to frustrate others, generally seeks to serve self, highly verbal individual. Guilty of denial (who me). Always processing a new thought (loves to throw out questions, but is not searching for answers.) Demanding and critical of others. Seeks power to control others, dislikes being told what to do. Poor listener, Gives priority to work over personal relationships, demanding and arrogant, primarily concerned with self-gratification, promotes turmoil and conflict when a personal goal is to be gained. How many people do you know that have most of these unhealthy red traits?
The colorcode will help you through difficult times
Healthy Reds also have incredible strengths as well. They are the lifeblood of humanity, and they can be movers and shakers of society, an asset to any organization, they excel with logical thinking, natural leader, committed to a productive lifestyle, direct and honest with opinions, loyal to the relationship, promotes group activities, highly task-oriented and efficient, rational thinkers and assertive communicators, natural goal-setter and completes tasks, highly protective of companion. They model leadership skills that others want to emulate, value productivity, and are highly successful people. These are just a few of the good healthy Red traits. I have clients who are married to a healthy red, and they have a great marriage. Reds can be so positive and encouraging to their partners.

Unexplained Behaviors Explained? (2) By Dr. Michael Brooks
Have you ever wondered why someone, maybe a family member, a friend, even a co-worker, treats you so badly? I certainly have, their behavior puzzles me and leaves me wondering why are some of these people so angry, defensive, mad, while other people we know are joking around when something just serious just happened. Then you have those who are so sensitive and serious, while others will not argue or fight and will avoid conflicts with you at all costs.
Hopefully, this article will make you want to do something about the people who make you feel miserable, worthless, and not valued. How would you like to know the hidden secrets in dealing with these people and having a good relationship with them? It can happen; you just have to learn what people’s motives are, what drives them to do the things they do. In my Counseling and coaching practice, I see many people struggling with relationships and, more often than not, are frustrated, tired, and just want to understand why people act the way they do.I have a cousin of mine that I’ve known for several years. He’s had his quirks that I didn’t understand these past several years, and now I see them as his issues and not mine.
